How Can severe Headache Along With Stomach Pain Be Treated?

I am having severe headaches that keep me awake at night and make me sick to my stomache because the pain is so severe. I thought I had a sinus infection, because my headaches are in my sinuses and on the side of my face that feels congested. I have been taking a sinus pain reliever, but it only takes the edge off of my headache, but it is still a severe headache.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the headaches are not resolving with the use of the usual antihistamine/decongestant/pain killer combination that is normally found in most sinus meds, then it may indicate that antibiotics may be needed (if the sinuses are infected) or there is another source of the headaches.

It would be best to rule out other causes first since the headache is so severe, a CT scan may be needed.

Other causes of headache include migraine, trauma, cluster headaches, tension headaches, a mass in the brain, a bleed in the brain.
This is the reason that the CT needed.

I hope this helps
